WP Group has received apologies from three media organisations who wrongly used WP Group's brand and imagery in reports on the proposed tanker driver strikes. WP Group is in no way connected, none of its drivers will be striking and business will continue as normal.
The international news media Reuters International, the original source of the footage, also apologised for the error: "The report [on "UK Fuel Tanker Drivers Vote to Strike"] inadvertently used images of WP Group tankers. As WP Group says it is not involved in the proposed strike action, the report should not have used those images. We can confirm that the report has been withdrawn and Reuters regrets the error."
WP wish to make it clear that they are not involved in the proposed strike action and will be supporting customers during this difficult period with additional deliveries.
WP always prioritise existing loyal custmers but always look to provide a greater level of coverage in times of industry crisis. We will always go that extra mile to deliver to our customers even in times of strike action or bad weather. WP are here for you.
