WP were recently contacted by Ryan Boisclair who told us all about his upcoming tractor ride in support of the Meningitis Research Foundation. WP were keen to get involved and have donated 300 litres of white diesel to fuel the entire journey.
Ryan has co-ordinated this charity event following the support he received when his daughter, Darcey, unfortunately contracted Meningitis in 2014. All proceed will go to Meningitis Research Foundation, a devoted charity that conduct vital research and health interventions which aid diagnosis and treatment of Meningitis and Septicaemia alongside supporting those who have been affected and free information to the public.
The team consists of Ryan Boisclair, James Bentley and local tractor dealership representative Simon Sinclair. Together they will set off on a sponsored tractor ride starting at John O Groats. Ryan’s partner, Rebecca Marsden will be following close behind in a BMW sponsored support vehicle.
Capped at 20 MPH the Valtra 234 is set to complete the journey in 3 days, finishing at Lands’ End on Tuesday 14th June.
